Frequently asked questions
How is my workers' data protected?
We follow the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012. Personal data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES). Access is role-based with audit logging on every personal-data read. Workers can request access, correction, or deletion at any time via the in-app privacy flow or by emailing privacy@rayee.com.sg.
Do workers need to install an app?
No. Rayee's worker app is a mobile-friendly progressive web app. Workers open it in the browser on any modern phone — iOS, Android, anything with a camera, GPS, and a browser. There is no app-store install.
Can I use Rayee for multiple sites?
Yes. Each site gets its own GPS fence, its own rotating QR code, and its own worker roster. Workers are scoped to specific sites in the admin console; the worker app shows only the sites they should see.
How long does setup take?
For a single-site business with fewer than 30 workers, most companies complete setup in under an hour. We provide a guided onboarding flow, sample rate cards, and a WhatsApp template starter pack. Larger or multi-entity deployments are handled with our team.
How does WhatsApp delivery work?
Rayee uses the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API to send payslips directly to workers' WhatsApp numbers. The message includes the payslip PDF or formatted summary, plus an in-message action button for the worker to flag a line item for HR review. Delivery status is logged on your side for audit.
What about offline / disconnected scenarios?
The current web worker app requires an internet connection to submit a punch (the QR token + geofence validation happens server-side). When a worker is offline, the mobile browser will show the punch is queued; the punch is sent when connectivity returns. (Coming Q1 2026: full offline queue.)
Can I export my data?
Yes. Worker records, payslip history, and audit logs are exportable as CSV and PDF at any time from the admin console. Data export is a PDPA-aligned feature, not a paid add-on.
Do you integrate with my payroll software / accounting software?
CSV export works with every major payroll and accounting product on the Singapore market. Direct integrations with Xero, QuickBooks, and ABSS are on the roadmap. Contact us if your stack isn't listed.
